Low dose magnesium sulphate regimen and maternal outcome of patients with eclampsia

Background: Preeclampsia, a serious pregnancy complication which is commonly characterized by high blood pressure, presence of protein in the urine and sometimes swelling women's feet, legs hands. With this condition, patient’s pressure often results seizures. Generally, outcome remains good, however, eclampsia can be life threatening disastrous.Methods: This cross-sectional study considered 114 patients who meet inclusion criteria agreed to will-fully participate were evaluated for different parameters. Patients developed during intra-natal postnatal period included study. The aim was evaluate maternal among all treated with low magnesium sulphate dosage therapy. Results: present revealed, very fit recurrence rate, mortality zero treatment failure no toxicity (99.12%) success rate.Conclusions: Apart from percent Low rate encouraged us continue dose MGSO4 regimen. Thus, has been found effective treating eclmpsia at same time maintains safety margin.
